I have seen many bloggers and influencers trying out sheet masks, lip and eye gels. How these glamorous bunch manage to make them look attractive I have no idea! When I use them, I end up looking like something out of Freddy vs Jason. No matter what I angle I tried to get, how much I attempted to pout, I can’t work those sheet masks.
Anyway, I was desperate to try them, I always love looking for new products that help rejuvenate my skin. Patchology have an amazing range of innovative skincare products, packed full of vitamins, fruit enzymes and all other healthy skin goodness. Patchology kindly sent me a variety of their FlashPatch eye and lip gels along with some of their 5-minute FlashMasques. If you are looking for an express facial to help give your skin a lift, these products are perfect.

I have been travelling overseas for work and currently on my holidays, Airplanes, extreme heat and air-con leaves your skin exposed and can leave it feeling dry, dull and tired. I have been using the FlashPatch products whilst travelling and I love them! The Rejuvenating Eye Gels paired with the Hydrating Lip Gels have been a skin saviour. The eye gels are my favourite, although they didn’t take my panda eyes away, they did make me feel refreshed, soothed and less puffy, perfect for jet-lag. With ingredients including caffeine and hydrolyzed collagen, they are aimed to target fatigue and help with elasticity and hydration. I have also tried the Restoring Night Eye Gels, the retinol, peptide and Cedrus Atlantica Bark ingredients are designed brighten, reduce dark circles and speed up your and of course attempt to keep those wrinkles at bay! Apparently the best time for your skin to repair itself is between 10pm and 12am, so these products are great for an overnight rescue.
I have had an OCD with lip balm since before I can remember, anything that helps dry and cracked lips, I am all over it. Patchology’s Hydrating Lip Gels are great for giving your pout a pick-me-up. Similar to the eye gels, they are also full of great ingredients including green tea extract and Niacinamide that helps with anti-aging and prevents your skin from losing water. The serum does leave your lips feeling a little sticky once removed, but with the constant air-con, they really helped with hydration.

Now onto the FlashMasques, I have used both the Hydrate and Illuminate 5-minute sheet masks. I did give myself a bit of a laugh once I put it on, pulling all kinds of silly faces in the mirror like the 30-year-old I am. After I applied the FlashMasques, I loved the cooling, fresh feeling, it actually felt like it was waking up my skin. I wasn’t too keen on the serum residue that is left after you remove the mask. You are supposed to rub all the healthy goodness into your skin however, for me it was quite sticky (like the FlashPatch lip gels) once it started to dry. Although I felt like I wanted to wash it off my face, I wanted all the ingredients to work their magic. The slightly tacky feeling does linger around for a while, I could still feel it after a couple of hours. However, my face felt much more hydrated and moisturised. I used the masks in the evening and when I woke up, my skin felt much softer. I have heard that other sheet mask brands can leave serum dripping down your neck when applied, I had no issue with drips at all. They are easy to use and great for a quick-face-fix, ideal for taking on your travels or in the middle of a busy work week.
Each of the FlashMasques have yeast amino acids, trehalose, taurine, inositol, betaine. All words I am sure many of you, like myself find baffling. However, all of these interesting words help moisturise, give anti-inflammatory protection, hydrate, soften and enhance your skin. I am yet to try the Milk and Mud FlashMasques but I am excited to try them. For your entertainment I have also added a picture below, of me working my FlashMasque in true model fashion.

I loved the Patchology products, I think they are great for giving your skin a well needed boost. For brides looking to give their skin some TLC before the big day, the FlashPatch eye and lip gels along with the FlashMasques are great for bridal beauty. Booking facials can be expensive, however Patchology’s prices are so reasonable, you can pamper yourself without breaking your wedding budget.
